Now that I have completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Fashion & Textiles with a concentration in Fashion Merchandising from SUNY Oneonta, I look forward to sharing what I have learned these past 4 years.
From Fashion Illustration and the History of Costume to Textile Science and Fashion Journalism, these classes have helped me develop a keen eye for creativity and a deep understanding of the business end of fashion. They have given me my foundation in fashion. In Computer- Integrated Fashion, I launched Revive Style, my own line of ‘night out on the town’ dresses, creating a store layout and pricing/designing each garment in the line.
Through my internship running a showroom with high-end clothing in New York City, the field of fashion came alive for me. I learned to speak the language of fashion, to listen to the clientele and to balance the needs of management in a hectic — and fun — environment.
